Client project at Valtech for an e-commerce platform, currently running in production.

Built and operated a complete CI/CD and observability infrastructure for a customer-facing e-commerce platform running on Azure App Service, handling production traffic and ensuring platform reliability.

Built and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, managing end-to-end deployment workflows for multiple microservices running on Azure App Service. Implemented a canary-based deployment strategy to safely release new features incrementally, minimizing production risk and enabling early detection of issues before full rollout.

Owned the complete observability stack by consolidating monitoring tools including Prometheus for metrics, Grafana for visualization, OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing, and ELK stack for centralized logging. This consolidation improved system visibility across all services and significantly reduced monitoring overhead by centralizing logs and metrics collection.

Automated cost optimization initiatives using Python scripts to identify and automatically clean up unused Azure resources including orphaned disks, unattached IPs, and idle compute instances. This resulted in measurable reduction in unnecessary cloud spend without impacting service availability.

Actively handled production incidents and on-call responsibilities, troubleshooting live issues, investigating performance bottlenecks, and implementing fixes to maintain platform stability during high-traffic periods. Worked closely with development teams to improve application reliability and deployment safety.
